The month of March is traditionally associated with graduation and recognition ceremonies for students at all levels of education. March is the end of the school year, and students are given honors for all of their achievements and dedications in order to complete a full school year, but a recent report about the spread of the Corona virus has hampered what was supposed to be the best time of the year for each student. As the virus continued to spread in the Philippines, a lockdown was declared in all areas of the country, with residents being placed under home quarantine. Many of the students were shocked by the bad news. All gatherings have been postponed, including the graduation and recognition day that was scheduled to take place. Despite the fact that the sudden declaration of lockdown did not deter this important occurrence, each school and university found alternative ways to commemorate it. Through the use of social networking sites and technology, this significant event was carried out remotely. Even if it was done virtually, students are thankful for the effort put forth by their respective schools and universities, and they are also pleased that their efforts were rewarded in the end.
